    We . . . 

• Turn off the lights when we leave the classroom
• Use only the lights necessary when we are in class.
• Recycle in our classroom using our recycle bins.
• Use a minimal amount of water when washing our hands.
• Use only 1 paper towel when drying our hands.
• Pick up litter around the school grounds.
• Turn off the bathroom light when it is not being used.
• Turn computers off at the end of each day.
• Re-use scrap paper & don’t waste paper.
• Give Ms. G our used printer ink cartridges to be reused.

                 Ways We Can Go Green at Home

• Turn off water while brushing your teeth.
• Get recycle bins and recycle at home. (Putnam County call: 386-329-0466)
• Take shorter showers.
• Only run your dishwasher and washing machine when it’s full.
• Water your lawn in the morning or evening to help keep water from evaporating.
• Turn your air conditioner up when you leave your house.
• Turn off lights when your not using them.
• Turn off the TV when it’s not being watched.
• (Better yet…turn it off more often and READ more!)
