When do I have PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS? EVERY DAY! How should I dress for PE?T-shirt, shorts, and SNEAKERS!
After 30 years as the Physical Education teacher at Melrose Elementary School, I have decided to take a new step in my teaching career. I will continue to teach, but in a different setting...I'm teaching 5th Grade! I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching PE to two generations of students at MES. MES Students in the Sports News... ELYSE CUSACK - a Gator from Melrose, Florida! An MES Alumni is a huge HIT with the University Of Florida Women's Volleyball Team! During her K-5th grade years at Melrose Elementary School, Elyse excelled as a student as well as an athlete! An A student, Elyse was active in all MYSA programs,including Soccer, Basketball, and Softball. Elyse also participated with the "Melrose Jumpers," the American Heart Association Demo Team at MES, for 7 years. As a 5th grader at MES, Elyse was recognized for Outstanding Achievement in Physical Education and was presented with the Greg Lauthain Award for Excellence.
